New music

Bought a few interesting tracks today.

I Keep Breathing (Return from Paradise Mix) - Dankann, Aqua Diva

Carte Blanche - Manuel De La Mare My Jupiter Mix - Veracocha

I keep running into tracks I like by Alex Kenji so I sorted through his stuff and found that whenever he is remixed by Manuel De La Mare something was produced that was perfect for my mood today.  Here are two that I bought:
Helena - Nino Anthony, Alex Kenji & Manuel De La Mare The Journey Rmx

And no link for this one so I suggest you swing by Beatport to listen.
Colors - Alex Kenji  Manuel De La Mare Poi

and finally some attitude with:

Milk & Honey - Original Mix by Spoundpusher.

New Years Eve - 2008

I had a relatively mellow New Years this year.  Fun was had by all, but we stayed in San Francisco and went to a local event.  The crowed was great (no rookies) and the atmosphere was low key so we all had a good time.  After we saw Derrick Carter and D:Fuse lay down some good tracks the cool night and tired women meant calling it an early evening.

Meanwhile, far across the country in New York... Tiesto started his set with a slightly higher energy level.  Reflekt - "Need To Feel Love"

New blog and new music.

So I'm restarting this for the 3rd time, lets see if I can get the same following I had a few months ago before my server went out.  I'm trying to iron out a few wrinkles, like how to embed links more gracefully but this is good enough to start.

With New Years around the corner, I've started thinking about the Winter Music Conference and what to expect his year.  I suspect attendance will be down just as it was in 2002, but I think that will be a good thing.  I probably had more fun in 2002 then any other year as I connected with far more people that were there because of the music.  I hope the recession has a similar affect this time.

Music I'm listening too right now:

Tech House/Techo:
Big Bang - Hertz
Costa Brava [Helvetic Nerds Remix]  - Daniel Portman
Murder Weapon [Original Mix] - 16 Bit Lolitas

Trance:
Blueprint - Stoneface & Terminal

and still underground with an amazing drum solo:
Madagascar (Richard Durrand remix) - Art of Trance.  This one simply blew me away when Armin dropped it last August at the Love Fest Afterparty -
